Hours, Location, and What to Expect

The Sheboygan Model Railroad Museum is open to the public year-round. Admission is by suggested donation.

Museum Hours

Saturday — 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Sunday — 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Weekdays — Open for scheduled groups and tours

Closed on major holidays. Operating sessions occur most weekends — call ahead to confirm running times.

Admission

Adults — $7 suggested

Children under 12 — $3 suggested

Members — Always free

We are a volunteer-run nonprofit. Every dollar supports the collection and the layouts.

Free on-street parking available. The museum is wheelchair accessible at the main entrance.

Visit Tips

What to Expect

Allow ninety minutes to take in the artifact rooms and watch the layouts at work. Volunteers are stationed throughout and are happy to walk you through the exhibits, demonstrate operating sessions, and answer questions for the youngest visitors — or the most seasoned modelers.
